چکیده
Carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) laminate structures manufactured using prepregs usually contain fiber discontinuities that result from the prepreg cutting for design and cost-efficiency. In this study, sampling moiré method was used to measure microscopic strain of unidirectional CFRP laminates with investigate deformation behavior causes damage. addition distributions before after cracking, results due thermal residual stress relaxation plastic during cracking were also obtained. The experimental study in good agreement finite element results. Our revealed is an accurate measuring can be evaluate mechanical properties, damage behavior, strains discontinuities, other different materials structures.

متن کاملStrength and Modulus Degradation of CFRP Laminates from Fiber Misalignment
Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) laminates are being used as external reinforcement for strengthening concrete members. The performance of unidirectional FRP laminates is highly dependent on fiber orientation with respect to applied load direction. In the case of fabrication by manual lay-up, it is possible to have fiber plies installed with improper orientation. In this project, the degradation ...

Laminated Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) composites are very effective in weight saving in aeronautical structural components. For these laminated CFRP structures, it is, however, difficult to detect damage such as delamination, matrix cracks, and local fiber breakages caused by low velocity impact loading In the previous study in 2009, Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) method was applied...
